City Cloud injects new impetus into digital economy

The City Cloud Data Center, a data security and recovery outsourcing service provider based in the Hefei high-tech zone – located in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province – is said to be injecting new impetus into the city's development of its digital economy.

"Orders have been coming in since we resumed work after the holidays. At the beginning of this year, we started cooperation with Hefei Rail, and we will provide customized data services for Metro Line 2 and Metro Line 5 to ensure their operational safety," said Xie Fei, general manager of City Cloud.

Founded in 2012, the company's data platform now has access to the information of nearly 300 customers and more than 70 data centers.

As a result, it can not only provide customers with whole life cycle services from planning and design to development and operations management, but also guarantee their data security.

In recent years, City Cloud has been focusing on the digital transformation and upgrading of industries and carrying out cloud computing business such as data centers and data operations.

Its output value topped 450 million yuan ($66.19 million) in 2022 and the forecast is for it to generate 30 percent growth in 2023.
