Project construction in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province – has been stepped up and is now in full swing.

For one thing, the zone is beefing up efforts to expand China Security Valley – an industrial cluster for cybersecurity enterprises and professionals – that spans an area of more than 20 hectares, in a project that will involve a total investment of about 2.55 billion yuan ($378.14 million).

A total of 10 complexes of high-rise offices, headquarters offices, public testing platforms and their related support service facilities will be constructed for the China Security Valley.

The project started at the end of November 2022 and is currently undergoing major excavations.
