A breakthrough in laser composition analyzers was recently unveiled by Hefei GStar Intelligent Control Technical Co Ltd or GStar, a high-tech company based in the Hefei high-tech zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province.
The company announced it has developed China's first commercial GS-LIBS2100 laser composition analyzer.
The cutting-edge device can realize high-precision detection of materials components in a mere 30 seconds without sample pretreatments of the tested objects.
The traditional industrial composition testing method is to take samples, make samples and then go to the laboratory for testing them. This not only takes a long time, but also restricts the development of intelligent and standardized process controls.
To solve the problems, leader Pan Congyuan and his research team spent six years in developing the GS-LIBS series laser composition analyzers.
These include the GS-IRAT2200 furnace combustion infrared thermometry system and the GS-LIBS2500 laser composition analyzers.
The products are said to be efficient and they have won national and provincial honors – such as the 2021 National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition Excellence Award handed out by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
