The second Global Talent Cloud Recruitment Fair was held in Hefei city, the capital of East China's Anhui province, on Jan 13.

The jobs were provided by 26 selected employers in the Hefei high-tech zone in such fields as artificial intelligence, integrated circuits and quantum information.

The employers included Chinese artificial intelligence pioneer iFlytek and the Institute of Advanced Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China.

The recruitment campaign offered over 150 positions for 612 applicants with an annual salary of up to 1.5 million yuan ($205,310) and an average annual salary of 300,000 yuan.

The personnel bureau of the Hefei high-tech zone provided detailed information so that people from all over the world could catch up online on the latest developments and environment trends in the region, as well as on its favorable policies.

After more than two months of publicity and organization, a total of more than 750 online resumes from 120 universities in over 20 countries and regions were received.

"After I submitted my resume, the Hefei high-tech zone was very enthusiastic to help me match up with professional related positions," said Yang Dapeng, who graduated from the Imperial College London with a doctorate and who was hired by resident manufacturer Circuit Fabology Microelectronic Equipment Co Ltd, or CFMEE, through the recruitment fair.

Yang added that the zone's atmosphere made him feel that it attached great importance to talent and that observation made up his mind for him to go and live and work there.
