The Hefei high-tech zone, located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province, gave the green light on Jan 11 and launched the China (Anhui) International Trade Single Window system – http://ah.singlewindow.cn/index.html – in the RCEP Hefei Enterprise Service Center.
The facility will provide services for foreign trading enterprises in the region.
The RCEP agreement, which entered into force a year ago, joined the 10 countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, as well as China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. It aims to ultimately eliminate tariffs on over 90 percent of goods trading among its signatories over the next 20 years.

The China (Anhui) International Trade Single Window provides one-stop services for foreign trade enterprises in the province, to submit documents or electronics data required for imports, exports or the transit of goods.
Compared with the traditional customs clearance, the single window streamlines procedures and lowers the error rate through process optimization and data simplification.
At the same time, foreign trading firms and their agents can get real-time information about goods, progress in the transport customs clearance and the regulatory status, results and time information.
