As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hefei USTC Microelectronics Innovation Center Co Ltd, the chips testing facility is expected to finish its installation and equipment procurement by April and begin operations in May next year.
On completion, the company will provide users with one-stop services, ranging from automatic test equipment, reliability analysis, to failure analysis, detection and certification.
The company has established strategic cooperation with authoritative organizations – including the China Electronics Standardization Institute – enabling qualifications sharing and data mutual recognition between the two sides.
The company has also joined a collaborative consortium focusing on encouraging cooperation among chips and vehicles manufacturers.
It is relying on the advantages of talent, technology and industrial influence at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and at the Institute of Microelectronics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
In doing so, the company is committed to building an authoritative third-party chips testing and certification institution in Anhui and to promoting the high-quality growth of the new energy automobile chips industry supply chain.
