The Hefei High-tech Zone – located in Hefei city, capital of East China's Anhui province – has since the start of the year rolled out a series of measures to improve the quality of its services, optimize the investment and business environment and promote the development of resident businesses.
As a result, there were 14,849 newly registered enterprises in the Hefei High-tech Zone at the end of October. That accounted for 15.2 percent of the total number of newly registered enterprises in Hefei and it was up 20.9 percent year-on-year.
In 2018, the Hefei High-tech Zone took the lead in the province to provide one-stop services to help its businesses.
Various measures have been taken to save operating costs and optimize market resource allocations.
For example, the zone has rolled multiple licenses involved in market entities entering specific industries into one comprehensive license – and the time for cancellation announcements has been shortened from 45 days to 20 days.
Since mid-April, the Hefei High-tech Zone has introduced a 24/7 office throughout the year – the first of its kind in Hefei.
