Quantum Computing Challenge cup open to global competitors
Registration for the second CCF Origin Pilot Cup Quantum Computing Challenge – organized by the China Computer Federation or CCF and to be held in Hefei city, in Anhui province – will officially open on Dec 5 to quantum computing programming enthusiasts worldwide.
Aimed at improving the overall level of quantum computing programming in China and cultivating potential talent, it is a national competition in the field, with the largest number of teams in China.
The first competition attracted many universities and supercomputing institutions to participate, with a total of nearly 700 registered teams and more than 1,000 people competing for 1 million yuan ($140,368) cash prizes.
As a result, a number of quantum computing professionals with innovative thinking and innovative ability emerged, with a wonderful showdown skills ensuing.
As a new engine of future computing power, quantum computing has fully raised international attention and has also attracted a large number of enthusiastic fans of this technology.

The competition is co-organized by Origin Quantum, a leading quantum computing technology company located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, Anhui province.
