Hefei high-tech zone begins recruiting college graduates nationally
Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, Anhui province, recently held job fairs in four universities in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, marking the beginning of the zone's autumn campus recruitment campaign nationally.
At the job fairs, 30 high-tech enterprises from the zone advertised nearly 5,000 jobs and received 1,500 resumes, with nearly 90 percent of the resumes being from applicants with master's or doctoral degrees.
Nanjing is the closest provincial capital city to Hefei and is home to many universities, making it the first stop for the zone's national autumn campus recruitment campaign. The zone also plans to go to Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu and other cities to carry out special recruitment activities in a bid to gain the upper hand during the peak recruitment period, and to help enterprises in the zone attract talents.
From January to September this year, the zone had held 47 offline campus job fairs, advertised 62,000 jobs, collected 29,306 resumes, and reached employment intentions with 14,881 applicants. The zone expects to connect no less than a total of 25,000 college graduates with enterprises throughout the year.
