Hefei high tech zone's internationalization index grows

The internationalization index of the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, registered steady growth from 2017 to 2020, according to the Internationalization Index 2021 report.
The report was jointly released on Sept 8 by the zone's administrative committee and the China High-tech Zone Research Center of the Institutes of Science and Development of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The zone's general internationalization index reached 169.57 in 2020, which is 69.57 points higher than in its base year of 2017, the report showed, indicating that the zone is experiencing an upward trend in its opening-up and international development.
The index is based on an evaluation of the zone's economy, industrial development, innovative competitiveness, opening-up and environment.
