East China's Anhui province recently launched the third Anhui Medical Devices Innovation Competition in a bid to promote the high-quality development of the medical devices industry in the province.

The event aims to stimulate the innovative creativity of scientific and technological workers, medical professionals and medical device companies as well as deepen their cooperation, according to the organizers.

The competition welcomes medical device products and technologies from companies, scientific research institutes, hospitals and clinical medical professionals. Applicants can register for the competition until Aug 31.

According to the schedule, the preliminary, semi-final and final rounds will take place in early September, mid-September and early October, respectively.

Winners are eligible for prizes and financial support, the organizing committee will recommend projects that enter the finals to investment and financial institutions, and policy support will be provided to projects that plan to settle in Anhui.
