A groundbreaking ceremony for Huibang Biological's IVD industrial base is held in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Aug 16. 

Huibang Biological's IVD (In Vitro Diagnosis) industrial base broke ground in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Aug 16.

The project is located at the intersection of Mingzhu Avenue and Kongquetai Road in the zone, and has a total land area of 40 mu (2.67 hectares) and a total investment of 450 million yuan ($66.1 million).

After the project is put into production, it is expected to generate 1.77 billion yuan in annual output value.

The project is also expected to further improve Huibang Biological's production capacity of IVD products, accelerate the research and development process of innovative IVD products, and upgrade production with high-end, digital and smart technologies.
