Hefei high-tech zone ramps up grad recruitment
Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone is enhancing government-university-enterprise cooperation to promote employment among college graduates.
The zone's government has recently been actively connecting universities and colleges with enterprises in the zone through a slew of activities.
On July 7, 12 university and college representatives were invited to visit the zone and met with government officials and enterprise representatives to discuss strengthening cooperation.
During their meeting, local government officials introduced the zone's industrial development and talent policies, and the university and college representatives signed cooperation agreements with 14 enterprises in the zone for students internships and employment.
Since the beginning of this year, the zone has held 29 offline campus job fairs that have provided more than 14,000 jobs, collected 13,135 resumes, and reached 7,564 initial employment intention agreements.
In addition, the zone also organized a series of online job fairs and took full use of various online platforms to more accurately link enterprises' job vacancies with young people's employment demands.
The zone's government also encourages high-tech enterprises, scientific research institutes and technology business incubators in the zone to offer research assistant positions for college graduates.
Furthermore, the zone rolled out friendly policies to college graduates such as offering interview and employment subsidies to new graduates who choose to work there.
