Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone held an event honoring enterprises and individuals who made outstanding contributions to the zone's economic development over the past year on June 10.

Sixty enterprises and individuals received awards, including the Economic Contribution Award, the Investment Promotion Excellence Award, the Pioneer Award for Stabilizing Industrial Chain and Production, the Science and Technology Finance Leading Award, the Brand Honor Demonstration Award, and the Comprehensive Benefit Improvement Award.

During the event, Fang Xiangmin, deputy director of the management committee of the zone, congratulated the award recipients and expressed his thanks to their contributions.

He said that last year, the zone responded to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursued economic and social development in a well-coordinated way, and has been ranked among the top 10 national high-tech zones in China for eight consecutive years.
