Volunteer from Jamaica joins anti-epidemic efforts in Hefei
Qiao Yifan, a 21-year-old Jamaican who lives in Hefei's Linxi International Community, recently joined anti-epidemic volunteers.
Qiao supported the community on May 21 by coordinating nucleic acid testing. When he realized the nucleic acid test site would be busy on that day, he decided to join as an order maintenance volunteer.
"I had a fantastic time volunteering. Everyone was courteous and orderly, and the procedure went smoothly," Qiao said. He went on to say that the work was well-organized and that the testing procedure was quick. The preventive measures are effective and important in his opinion.
Qiao has spent more than two years in China. He also noted that China is his second home.
