The Canadian International School of Hefei (CISH) is the first international school in Anhui province.
The school enrolls foreign personnel's children as well as students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
CISH is accredited by the New Brunswick Department of Education in Canada and was certified as an IB institution by the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization).
CISH offers a Canadian curriculum taught by certified Canadian teachers in English.
Peng Jianhua, chairman of Canada AKD International Education Inc, said he is glad to see that the school has become a top choice for children of most foreign personnel in Hefei.
CISH's campus spans 70,000 square meters and is well equipped with modern classrooms that use interactive Smart Board learning technology, a multi-purpose sports area and piano rooms.
