Hefei-based tech companies Easpeed and Origin Quantum recently won top awards for their outstanding projects at the finals of the First National Disruptive Technology Innovation Competition.

The two projects that received the awards are Easpeed's "Interactive Aerial Imaging" project and Origin Quantum's "Algorithm Development Based on Quantum Computers and Operating Systems in Different Industry Application Scenarios" project, which represent Hefei's latest breakthroughs in the fields of new display technology and quantum technology, respectively.

The competition was hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and attracted 2,724 entries across China, and 36 of which won top awards.

Easpeed, an interactive holographic imaging technology company, and Origin Quantum, a quantum computing technology company, are both located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, Anhui province. They are the only two companies in the province to win the top awards.
