Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has been exploring new ways to improve its business environment and has rolled out a series of innovative measures aimed at facilitating project construction to better serve enterprises.

The zone's government established a special work group for project promotion to serve enterprises in 2020. The work group is committed to helping enterprises make applications for project construction, thoroughly solving various problems enterprises encountered during the period from the acquisition of land to the start of construction, and helping realize the rapid progress of project construction.

In 2021, the work group launched an innovative measure that greatly improved administrative efficiency for project construction. The measure allowed enterprises in the zone to receive four certificates required to start project construction within half a day. On July 15, 2021, after receiving these certificates, Hefei Guangwei Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd started construction on the same day, setting a record for the shortest time between getting a piece of land and beginning construction in the zone.

This year, the work group established a project-enterprise information sharing platform to facilitate cooperation between enterprises in the zone and communication between enterprises and government departments.
