On March 18, Hefei-based companies Biouhan and Deep Blue gave 8 million and 2 million self-developed COVID-19 antigen test kits, respectively, to the Hefei Red Cross Society, and the total amounted to 10 million kits.

Their antigen test kits have been selling abroad in more than 50 countries and regions around the world. The two companies have applied for approval to sell their antigen products in the domestic market. Both are located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

Their donations are very meaningful and helpful. It is a honorable gesture for Hefei's local companies to help Hefei fight the epidemic, said Liu Bo, the full-time deputy secretary of the Hefei Red Cross Society.

According to Liu, they will distribute the 10 million test kits to people in need in the city as soon as possible under the unified arrangement of the Hefei Epidemic Prevention and Control Command Office.
