NPC deputies from Hefei high-tech zone offer suggestions
Tech entrepreneurs from Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone offered suggestions as deputies to the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) from March 5 to 11.

Cao Renxian, one of the NPC deputies, is the president of new energy company Sungrow.
Since his time serving as an NPC deputy, Cao has focused on renewable energy power generation. This year, he offered suggestions on topics such as technological system innovation and the mechanism for determining the price of renewable energy in order to meet the carbon emissions peaking and neutrality goals.

Liu Qingfeng, an NPC deputy, is the board chairman of artificial intelligence company iFlytek.
Liu presented the top legislature with eight suggestions this year, including artificial intelligence applications in education, healthcare, and elderly care.
"Artificial intelligence will be an important engine for promoting social progress in the next decade," Liu said. He went on to say that China's intelligent speech and artificial intelligence technology is world-leading, and has achieved significant results in promoting the development of the digital economy, improving the level of public services and people's happiness.

Wei Zhen, one of the NPC deputies, is the CEO of Gocom, a company that focuses on underground signal control technology in coal mines, subway systems and other areas.
More support for leading small and medium-sized enterprises that specialize in niche sectors, such as upgrading the cultivation system and developing special funds, is something Wei has advocated for. He also recommended that new-generation information technologies like cloud computing, big data, 5G, and the internet of things be deeply integrated into the mining production process.
