East China's Anhui province recently announced a list of the sixth batch of large special emerging-industry projects that will receive financial support from the local government.

The list included two Hefei-based initiatives. They are Hefei Navinfo Co's project to build high-precision maps for autonomous driving, which is in the new-generation information technology industry, and Anhui Win-all Hi-tech Seed Co's project to develop biological breeding, which is in the biological industry.

Hefei Navinfo Co is a digital map company specializing in self-driving vehicles. All-Anhui Victory Hi-tech Seed Co. is a publicly traded corporation that specializes in cutting-edge breeding procedures and materials. Both are in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
