Dubbed the "mega brain" of Hefei in Anhui province, the center will be used to provide advanced computing services for scientific and technological research and development in various fields like quantum communications, robotics and new energy vehicles.
The center has 120 computer cabinets which include more than 1,500 servers for scientific computing, intelligent computing, liquid cooling and storage.
The center has signed cooperation agreements with the University of Science and Technology of China in Hefei and the Hefei Institute of Physical Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to provide them with high-quality technical support.
The center is located in the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone where most of the province's high-tech enterprises gather.
