The first quantum computing global developer platform in China was officially launched at the 2022 Quantum Computing Industry Empowerment Conference on Jan 23 in Hefei, Anhui Province.
The platform provides comprehensive services to global quantum computing enthusiasts and developers. It was completely developed with independent intellectual property rights by two Hefei-based companies -- Hefei Big Data and Origin Quantum. Hefei Big Data's Hefei Advanced Computing Center and Origin Quantum's superconducting quantum computer support the operation of the platform.
According to its developers, the platform will provide solutions for algorithm development and quantum computing applications for users in many industries, help cultivate talent in the field, and incubate quantum computing start-ups.
The platform's predecessor was China's first quantum computing innovation and entrepreneurship platform. Now the upgraded 2.0 version has four modules --education, programming, development tools, and applications, putting more emphasis on developers' practical needs and future development. It also added an English language version.
The platform offers online and offline services for global developers to learn quantum computing, develop projects and create innovative applications online, and offline services for innovators and entrepreneurs in the field of quantum computing are available at Hefei Big Data Industrial Park.
