China Speech Valley targets 500b yuan total output value

The China Speech Valley, the first national-level artificial intelligence industrial park in China, is striving to produce a total output value of 500 billion yuan ($78.74 billion) during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.
The industrial park has completed its former goal of gathering over 1,000 enterprises and generating more than 100 billion yuan in operating revenue. By the end of November 2021, the number of enterprises in the China Speech Valley has exceeded 1,400, local media reported on Jan 10.
In a bid to become a world-class industrial landmark, the China Speech Valley is set to boost the development of both AI technology and information technology. It is planning to build the largest industrial base for the innovative application of information technology in China within three years.
Located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, the China Speech Valley is highly valued by local government which gave full support to foster a world-class AI industrial cluster with international competitiveness in the park.
According to a notice issued by the provincial government last year, from 2021 to 2025, a total of 800 million yuan will be allocated annually to support the development of artificial intelligence, intelligent speech, and information technology in the China Speech Valley.
