Hefei Metro Line 4 goes through high-tech zone

Metro Line 4 officially opened in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, on Dec 26, connecting five major districts and zones in the city, including Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

Line 4 is an L-shaped urban backbone line running from west to northeast, with a total length of 41.37 kilometers and a total of 31 stations. It is the longest line in Hefei and connects with four other metro lines in the city.

The new line set up five specially-designed stations with the theme of "source of innovation", three of which, namely Hefei No 7 Middle School Station, Quantum Science Center Station and Institute of Advanced Technology Station, are located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
