Lianchuang Electronic Technology will build a vehicle-mounted optics industrial park in the Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Hefei, capital of Anhui province, local media reported.

After its completion, the industrial park is expected to form an annual production capacity of 50 million vehicle camera lenses and 50 million vehicle-mounted imaging module products.

During the signing ceremony for the project on Dec 6, the company and the zone agreed that the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry in Hefei should see explosive growth, bringing great market opportunities to upstream and downstream enterprises.

Both sides expressed confidence in their collaboration, saying that they will work together to accelerate construction on their cooperation projects, explore new projects and help Hefei become a global NEV city.

The Intelligent Driving Vehicle Imaging Modules R&D and Manufacturing Center of Lianchuang Electronics Technology is also under construction in Hefei and is expected to begin production at the end of December this year.
