The China Pollution Prevention Exhibition, which was held in Hefei from Nov 26 to 28, gathered 23 enterprises from the international environment protection technology park at the Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone.

These enterprises are engaged in various aspects of the industrial chain, including technological research, equipment manufacturing and environmental technology services, and some boast advanced technologies and equipment in the fields of water treatment, atmospheric treatment and soil restoration.

The Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone boasts a robust environment protection industry with more than 500 technology enterprises, including 41 that are above designated size, 89 national high-tech enterprises and three listed enterprises.

The zone is the first national demonstration zone for the ecology industry in Anhui province.

To further promote green development, the zone is focusing on the development of new energy, new materials and new energy vehicles industries, and is planning to build a low-carbon technology industrial park, low-carbon factories and introduce leading low-carbon enterprises.
