The Smart Car Electronic Industrial Park was inaugurated in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, during a forum on Nov 12.

The park will be a base for R&D and manufacturing and provide policy support for enterprises in terms of construction, capital and talent.

It is expected to help accelerate the aggregation of intelligent connected vehicle enterprises to form a strong industrial chain and develop a leading innovative capacity and industrial scale.

An auxiliary self-driving project of Guochuang Hefei Intelligent Automobile Technology Co was also signed during the forum. The project will be developed in the zone.

The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone has enhanced support for new energy vehicles and automotive electronics industries in recent years to help form a world-class intelligent electric vehicle industrial cluster with a complete industrial chain in Hefei.
