Two Hefei-based high-tech companies, Origin Quantum and Ronds, won first prize awards at the "Straight To Wuzhen" Global Internet Competition in Zhejiang province on Sept 28.

They were the only companies from Anhui province to make the award list and are both located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of Anhui.

Origin Quantum received the honor for its engineering quantum computing hardware and software solutions in the field of integrated circuits, which also won the Most Innovative Award, a special award of the competition.

Ronds was conferred the award for its smart operations platform solutions for devices based on predictive maintenance in the industrial internet field.

The competition focusing on digital economy is an important part of the World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit. It attracted 1,012 projects to sign up for it, including 180 overseas projects from 19 countries this year.
