Hefei Science and Technology Museum (Nature Museum) is located beside Wangzui Lake in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province.

The museum is currently under construction and is scheduled to open to the public at the end of 2022. After completion, it is expected to become a new cultural landmark in the city and help promote popular science among local residents.

There will be 11 permanent exhibition halls, a nearly 4,000-square-meter open-air exhibition area, a dome theater called the Flying Dome Theater, a 4D theater, a holographic theater, a science theater, and a number of popular science activity rooms.

The Flying Dome Theater at the museum will offer a virtual flying tour for visitors, with a diameter of 21 meters, a viewing angle of 162 degrees, and a height of 16.6 meters.
