College Students Pioneer Park set up in Hefei high-tech zone
A business incubator called College Students Pioneer Park was set up in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province on Aug 12.
During the launch ceremony, six start-up teams signed agreements to start businesses in the park and supporting policies for college student entrepreneurs were released by Hefei high-tech zone.
The park provides support to start-up teams comprising college students and college graduates who graduated five or less years ago, and welcomes projects from strategic emerging industries such as quantum information, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits and big data, as well as technology service companies such as university technology entrepreneurial brokers.
The park has two phases. The first phase is located on the 4th floor of Building B of the Science and Technology Innovation Service Center. It has a floor area of about 1,700 square meters and can accommodate about 30 entrepreneurial teams.
The second phase, which has a floor area of 11,000 square meters, is located in Building A1 of the Phase III of the Innovation Industrial Park. It is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. It will provide more complete public services for more than 300 technology-based start-ups.
After completion, the park will work to attract college students with entrepreneurial aspirations and college student entrepreneurial teams with technological advantages and development potential from across the country.
In addition to venues and policies, the park will also provide entrepreneurs with one-stop incubation services such as banking and taxation, counseling and training services to help them commercialize sci-tech achievements.
