Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, was recently listed as one of the top 100 development zones in Asia in 2020.

The zone ranked 17th, 11th, 29th, and 25th in terms of competiveness, business environment, investment value, as well as innovation respectively among the development zones.

The results were unveiled in a Competiveness Index Report made by Global magazine, Shikai Think Tank, and the China Investment Association after 13 months of research on development zones in Asia.

In addition, the zone was 12th on the list of the top 100 development zones in China in 2021 in terms of the advanced manufacturing industry, which was unveiled by CCID Consulting after an evaluation of 218 national-level economic development zones and 168 national-level high-tech zones.
