The first phase of the National Healthcare Big Data Industrial Park in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone was recently completed.

The 243-mu (16.2-hectare) park is expected to have a total floor area of 314,000 square meters. It will house a headquarters, scientific research buildings, incubators, public service facilities, and apartments for talents.

The project is constructed and operated by Hefei STIP. The first phase of the project totals 197,000 square meters.

The park focuses on industries such as precision medicine, stem cell and regenerative medicine, healthcare big data, high-end medical equipment and drug research and development. It has attracted a number of enterprises and R&D institutions from the healthcare field such as Anhui SJ Healthcare, Precedo, Sino Canadaian Health, as well as provincial and municipal medical big data R&D centers.

The park is expected to generate 5 billion yuan in annual output by 2025.
