Fu Zhaoji, a graduate of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Hefei, is the founder of Anhui HeartVoice Medical Technology Co.

Located in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, the company mainly focuses on the automatic diagnosis of electrocardiograms using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Fu said that the necessity of continuous monitoring of heart conditions has spawned a broad market for wearable devices with heart monitoring functions and small household hardware devices.

Born in 1985, Fu was admitted to USTC in 2004 before starting his company in 2014. He said USTC has provided great help for students to become entrepreneurs.
