Hefei-based micro-electronic equipment maker CFMEE was approved on Feb 2 to be listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange's Science and Technology Innovation Board, also known as the STAR Market.

It is the first company in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, which is part of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone, to receive such approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission this year.

Established in 2015, CFMEE is located in the integrated circuits (IC) industrial base in the zone. It specializes in the R&D and production of direct imaging equipment and direct writing lithography equipment, with micro-nano direct writing lithography as the core technology.

According to the company, it has obtained 71 technical patents, established a foreign expert workshop and a provincial-level post-doctoral scientific research workstation, as well as won many national, provincial, and municipal-level awards.

There were five new listed companies in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in 2020, accounting for one fourth of Anhui's total newly-listed companies last year.
