Around 20 music enthusiasts from China, the UK, Canada, Russia, Japan, and other countries showed off their talent at the 2020 Chinese and Foreign Music Party held by the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Dec 3.

This year's event was shared on multiple online video platforms and consisted of guzheng, guitar, piano, cucurbit flute, and pipa performances, as well as jazz and pop music.

The annual event is part of the zone's efforts to help enrich the cultural lives of local foreigners and promote cultural exchange between Chinese and foreign talent in the zone.

"Music is a universal language. I am a lover of music and I have witnessed many surprises in the process of the zone's rapid development," said a British person who works at a local company.
