The management committee of Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone displayed its big data platforms and application projects used in various departments on Oct 31.

The event was divided into two sections: one to showcase two basic platform projects and the other to evaluate nine application projects. The showcase was intended to promote the high-quality development of digital governance.

One of the primary platforms submitted by the science and technology bureau is comprised of three parts: the legal person information database, geographic information base and spatiotemporal operation GIS platform project. Two years have been spent improving the legal person information database's label classification info for more than 16,000 enterprises in the park.

The project monitored the ecological environment in the zone. It topped the nine application projects in the competition, followed by the management system recording investment information and the decision-supporting system for river chiefs.

The management committee of Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone started promoting big data in government management in May 2019.

Various departments have carried out basic data platform construction, data analysis and innovative application based on data resources such as government affairs, enterprises and social affairs.
