A group of 80 projects with a total investment of 30.88 billion yuan ($4.62 billion) was signed in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Oct 17. The projects are aimed at further developing the Hefei area of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone.

They focus on key industries in the zone, such as intelligent manufacturing, life health and new-generation information technology.

The Hefei area of the China (Anhui) Pilot Free Trade Zone in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone measures 31.43 square kilometers and includes areas for high-end R&D innovation as well as a new economy industry incubator.
