USTC professor honored with intl award in quantum computing

Lu Chaoyang, a young professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), was recently honored with the 2021 Rolf Landauer and Charles H. Bennett Award in Quantum Computing.
The award, announced by the American Physical Society (APS), was given in recognition of Lu's significant contributions to optical quantum information sciences, especially in the areas of solid-state quantum light sources, quantum teleportation and optical quantum computing.
Lu is the first Chinese scientist to receive the award.
