Conference focusing on AIoT opens in Hefei

The Tech Show Developers Conference opened in Hefei on Sept 25, providing an exchange and cooperation platform for AIoT developers.
AIoT, the Artificial Intelligence of Things, is the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) and allows for closer human-machine interactions. AIoT is used in smart homes, smart cities, smart manufacturing, smart healthcare, smart education, smart agriculture, and self-driving cars.
At the conference, representatives of industry associations and companies involved in intelligent technology, manufacturing, and finance, such as Hefei-based AI firm iFlytek, US-based home appliance maker Whirlpool, and Hefei Gaoxin Development & Investment Group Co, shared their insights into the development trends of the AIoT industry.
Fang Xiangmin, deputy director of the administrative committee of the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, a host unit of the conference, said that Hefei had a thriving industrial internet and AI industry and encouraged AIoT-related companies to do business there. He also said that he hopes participants can find new partners and business opportunities through the conference.
