China Telecom (Anhui) Big data Industrial Park under construction

China Telecom (Anhui) Big data Industrial Park is currently under construction at the Nangang Science Park in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.
The park is intended to become a leader in cloud computing in East China and will be equipped with 16,000 standard cabinets and internet bandwidth of up to 20,000 Gbps, according to Liu Song, deputy general manager of China Telecom's Hefei branch.
It is expected to be put into operation in 2021 and become a new driving force behind the development of the digital economy in Hefei, Liu said.
The industrial park is a major new piece of infrastructure for information communication, involving 5G, industrial internet, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
After completion, it will provide data processing, storage and security services for government departments, enterprises and individuals.
The industrial park will not only bring people a faster internet, but also make their lives more convenient. Liu said a health big data center will be built in the park to support more accurate data for online healthcare.
