Schools in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone have been renovated for this fall semester as part of the zone's efforts to improve the campus environment.
A total of 20 schools in the zone, including 18 middle and primary schools and two kindergartens, completed renovations on their playgrounds, function rooms, walls, and more during summer vacation to provide more students with better facilities and ensure safety.
According to the construction company, new materials were used in the renovations to ensure a high level of quality. For example, the re-paved basketball court at Tianzhulu School made use of environmentally friendly silicon PU court material, which is dense, wear-resistant, pollution-resistant, and very elastic.
