Hefei-based quantum computing company Origin Quantum recently launched China's first all-physics system quantum learning machine, signaling the start of a new era for quantum computing education in China, local media reported Aug 21.
According to the company, the machine is dedicated to the learning, training, development, experimentation, and application of quantum algorithms and quantum software. It is meant to alleviate the talent shortage in the cutting-edge field of quantum computing.
The machine adopts a modular design and supports a 3D simulation laboratory that shows the details of quantum computing machines. It is equipped with a GUI and quantum language programming platform and has dialogue exchange micro-classes to improve the learning experience for users.
It also allows users to communicate with quantum computing practitioners and enthusiasts and look up a great deal of material relating to quantum computing through its open source community.
The company has formed cooperative relations in quantum computing education with a number of key universities in China, including Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
