An audio conference word transcription machine developed by company Anhui Samxvm Technology -- based in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province -- makes speech visible, utilizing advanced intelligent speech technology, according to a company spokesman.
The machine is able to record audio for up to four hours and convert it into text in synch, providing an easier, more efficient and accurate conference record method for companies and government departments.
It not only works for Mandarin but also with Cantonese and other dialects and also with English. Users can edit the text in real time, according to Yu Yanxing, general manager of the company.
Yu said the machine adopted advanced network synchronization multi-platform technology and is of great help for video conferences, which have become increasingly common due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2014, the company won second prize in a national intelligent speech applications developer competition and enjoyed favorable policies to settle in China Speech Valley in Hefei -- the first national industrial park to focus on AI and intelligent speech.
Combing intelligent speech recognition, speech synthesis with semantic understanding technologies, the company has developed more than 20 categories of products and boasts more than 200 intellectual property rights and invention patents.
