A total of 323 enterprises in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone were asked to rate government services and business environment in the zone - and statistics show the overall satisfaction rate is 96.59 percent.

During a press conference on Aug 7, the zone government unveiled a comprehensive evaluation report based on questionnaire results from the enterprises.

Foreign-invested enterprises, technology-intensive enterprises and enterprises whose revenue in their main businesses exceeds 100 million yuan ($14.4 million) were most satisfied, with a satisfaction rate of 100, 99.03 and 100 percent respectively.

According to the report, policy support, development of industrial clusters and services for enterprises are important factors that attracted enterprises to the zone and the biggest advantages of the business environment in the zone.

However, the zone needs to improve services for high-tech enterprises and accelerate the approval process of project location and planning, the report concluded.

During the conference, 12 representatives of enterprises in the zone were recruited as monitors for government services and the business environment in the zone.
