Artificial intelligence (AI) firm iFlytek and CITIC Engineering Design & Construction Co Ltd signed a cooperation agreement in Hefei on June 14 to jointly promote the digital transformation of the construction industry.

Relying on their unique advantages, the two will work together to develop industrial internet platforms and apply intelligent technologies and big data.

Before the signing ceremony, the CITIC delegation visited the AI exhibition hall of iFlytek located in Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone, which displays iFlytek's latest technologies and products.

After learning about how iFlytek uses AI to promote smart city construction, the delegation expressed confidence about their partnership.

During a meeting, the two sides agreed that, though engaged in different industries, they hold the same views on the digitalization of industries. They will deepen cooperation in the future by combining CITIC's technology and experience in engineering and iFlytek's R&D strength in AI and big data.
