The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone revealed a plan to foster more high-growth enterprises this year at a conference on June 16.

The zone plans to implement more supporting measures, such as favorable policies, special financial products, and better resource allocation, especially for sci-tech enterprises with huge development potential and a strong capacity for innovation.

This is the third time the zone has held the conference, which focuses on how to incubate high-growth enterprises such as gazelle enterprises (enterprises that have overcome obstacles to enter a period of fast-growth) and unicorn enterprises (startups with a valuation of more than $1 billion).

Nearly 300 representatives from high-growth enterprises, technology institutes, incubators, and investment institutions attended the conference and discussed how to develop more high-growth enterprises.
