The Brain–computer AI Laboratory is a cooperation project between Huami Technology and the Institute of Advanced Technology of the University of Science and Technology of China.

The two parties announced on May 25 that the laboratory will rely on the institute's research strength in brain science and artificial intelligence (AI) to apply medical research results through the use of smart wearable products developed by Huami Technology.

The joint laboratory will carry out research on brain-computer interfaces and focus on medical fields such as epilepsy detection, depression, stress emotion recognition and neural regulation.
