Qiao Mengyuan entrepreneurship base for overseas Chinese
The Qiao Mengyuan entrepreneurship base in Hefei, Anhui province, is an industrial cluster for overseas Chinese businessmen, the 13th of its kind in China. The cluster was founded on Oct 18, 2016.
The concentrated display area of the cluster has a construction area of 50,000 square meters.
The plan is to construct a 200- mu (133,333 sq m) park for overseas Chinese business start-ups, to be followed by a nine-sq km overseas Chinese industrial cluster in the Nangang Science Park of the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

The cluster will mainly be for industrial agglomeration, business incubation, talent exchange and comprehensive services.
After five years' construction the Qiao Mengyuan entrepreneurship base has attracted no fewer than 1,500 overseas Chinese and highly qualified overseas professionals. More than 1,000 enterprises have been founded or invested by them, and they have created over 3,000 items of intellectual property, 1,000 of which are officially protected. The technical contract turnover has reached 5 billion yuan ($730.77 million).
An industrial system of overseas Chinese businessmen with Hefei characteristics has been gradually formed. By 2020, the cluster’s gross operation revenue from overseas Chinese industry is expected to reach 30 billion yuan.
