Anhui Provincial Emerging Industry Investment Co Ltd is an important investment and financing platform of the Anhui provincial government for industry incubation, leadership and integration. It is operated by the Anhui Provincial Investment Group.

Established in December 2014 through the 36th executive meeting of the provincial government, the company, with a registered capital of 10 billion yuan ($1.41 billion yuan) and an entity credit rating of AAA, manages Anhui Industrial Investment Company, Anhui Mining Investment Company, Anhui Provincial Venture Capital Company, Zhongan Chuanggu, Zhongan Green Energy and listed company Jiuhua Tourism. It also participated in the establishment of Chuanggu Capital -- the first provincial-level mixed ownership fund management agency.

According to the unified deployment of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, the company manages and operates provincial equity investment funds such as the Sanzhongyichuang industrial fund, SME development fund and emerging industry venture capital fund. It ranks 9th in the Zero2IPO Chinese Government Guidance Fund.

The company is the only pilot unit for innovative state-owned equity investment fund management in Anhui province and has undertaken the reform and deployment of the government's investment and financing system. Since its establishment, it has been focusing on the development of Anhui, real economy and strategic emerging industries.

The company has gradually formed four main business patterns: the market-oriented and professional way of operating provincial equity investment funds represented by the government fund management business; private equity and venture capital businesses focusing on angel investment, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions investment; strategic investment and operations revolving around industries such as new energy, cultural tourism and health; entrusted with market-oriented management and operation of supporting funds for high-level scientific and technical personnel coming to Anhui to start businesses and the Zhongan Chuanggu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base, serving innovation and entrepreneurship in the province and the introduction of talents at home and abroad.
